Collection Events

We hold one Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event in each of our 6 counties per year. You do NOT have to live in the county to attend the event. Anyone who lives in Benton, Carroll, Jasper, Newton, Pulaski, and White counties can attend any of the following events:

2024 Collection Event Schedule

May 4th—Pulaski County–held at the Pulaski County Recycling Center, 570 West 60 South, Winamac

June 1st—Carroll County–held at the Flora Municipal Shop, 501 N Division St, Flora

August 3rd–Benton County–held at Benton County Recycling, 410 S Adeway, Fowler

August 10th—White County–held at White County Recycling, 484 E US 24, Reynolds

August 17th–Newton County–held at Newton County Highway Garage, 3640 S 275 W, Morocco

September 28th—Jasper County–held at Jasper County Highway Garage, 2676 W Clark St, Rensselaer

ALL EVENTS ARE HELD FROM 8am-Noon LOCAL TIME. NOTE: JASPER AND NEWTON COUNTIES ARE IN CENTRAL TIME
Household Hazardous Waste includes: oil, oil filters, antifreeze, poisons, chemicals, oil based paint, cleaners, herbicides, pesticides
NO TIRES WILL BE COLLECTED AT THESE EVENTS. We encourage you to return your tires to your tire dealer.
